Notification Channels
SignalWhen can notify you through multiple channels when a signal triggers. Here's how to set each one up.
Email notifications are available on every plan. When you create an email channel, we'll send a verification link to confirm the address.
Go to Channels and click "Create Channel".
Select "Email" and enter the email address.
Click the verification link sent to your inbox.
Attach the channel to your signals.
Webhook
Webhook channels send a POST request with JSON payload to your specified URL whenever a signal triggers. Great for custom integrations and automation.
The webhook sends a JSON payload including the signal name, type, trigger time, and detected changes.
Slack
Get signal alerts directly in your Slack workspace. Provide a Slack webhook URL to start receiving notifications in any channel.
Create an Incoming Webhook in your Slack workspace settings.
Copy the webhook URL.
Create a Slack channel in SignalWhen and paste the URL.
Attach the channel to your signals.
SMS
Receive text message alerts for critical signals. SMS notifications are limited by your plan's monthly quota (100/mo on Pro, 500/mo on Business).
